Did you know that you have another option other than paper based IELTS? Discover Computer Delivered IELTS.

Computer-delivered IELTS , which IDP IELTS started to conduct in July 2018 for the first time in Turkey, is the computer version of paper-based IELTS. While the Paper-based IELTS test is held 4 times a month, while computer-delivered IELTS is held 7 times a week, 3 times a day (morning, afternoon, and evening sessions).

If you choose to take Computer Delivered IELTS, you will complete the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections on a computer. The entire test is the same as paper-based IELTS in terms of question types, content, and evaluation. Computer-delivered IELTS stands out with some advantages.

Face to face speaking test

Even if you take the written parts of the test via computer, the Speaking test is still conducting face to face with a real person in a private room. You don’t have to suffer to hear the question and try to make your voice heard among the noise of other candidates. In this way, your test takes place in a natural speaking atmosphere that you can do in daily life and you can perform more comfortably.

Flexible test dates

You do not have to adjust yourself to the test date, all the computer-delivered test dates are yours.

You can take the test at any time by choosing the most suitable test date and time with computer-delivered IELTS, which is held 7 days a week, 3 sessions a day. So you can give yourself enough time to prepare.

Faster results

While paper-based IELTS results are announced 13 calendar days after the test date, computer-delivered IELTS results are announced within 2 to 5 days. If you have limited time to get your result, computer-delivered IELTS is for you.

Turkish keyboard option

IDP IELTS provides the support you need for a more comfortable test experience. You can request a Turkish Q keyboard in your computer-delivered IELTS only at IDP IELTS test centers.

With IDP IELTS, you can choose one of the English or Turkish Q keyboard options when you are asked for your keyboard choice on test day and you can complete your test more easily by using the keyboard type you are used to. You should be careful not to use Turkish letters such as İ, Ü, Ş, Ç.

Word count

In computer-delivered IELTS, you do not need to stress to gather your thoughts and count the words whether you have reached the word. The word count in the left corner of your computer counts the number of words as you type, so you can focus more.

In computer-delivered IELTS, all parts of the test start and end at the same time for everyone. For example, while you are in the Reading section, all other candidates complete the Reading section. In addition, for the Listening section, all candidates are provided with high-quality noise-canceling headphones.

In addition, stationery (pencil – eraser), water, shawl, and earplugs are ready for you at IDP IELTS test centers to ensure a comfortable test experience.
